A message from Claire to all future brides.
Pretty soon into the wedding planning process, I had decided I wanted a wedding videographer, I knew it was one of probably only two investments we would make that would actually last a lifetime beyond the wedding day. I actually prioritised it more than a photographer because I felt we would be able to relive the day so much more through a film with the sound of our speeches, vows, reading, music etc than we ever could through a set of still photographs.
When searching for a wedding filmmaker I knew I wanted a style that would capture the emotion of our day with beautiful cinematic style videography. Paul really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and on the day it felt like having another member of the family there, his presence actually put me at ease getting ready! I still find it incredible that he caught every second of our day when he and Karl were so unobtrusive.
When we received the preview within 24 hours and the highlight film only a week or so later I knew we had made the best decision in choosing Paul Hunter Rowe as our wedding videographer.
I’ve already watched the highlight film more times than I can count and we’ve only had it a few weeks, so much so my husband is starting to get sick of the sound of his own voice!
There’s no doubt that if you choose Paul you will watch your video multiple times; you’ve probably been planning your wedding for over a year, it’s one of the happiest, best days of your life, so trust me, you will want to relive it and to watch the videos plenty – you will certainly get your money’s worth within the month!
It will also be an investment that is appreciated beyond just you and your spouse. I have had many family members and friends tell me that they have been moved to tears watching our film so it’s not just me! My dad admitted to me that he was initially sceptical about me having a videographer but after seeing Paul’s work has totally changed his mind and says it was worth every penny. My bridesmaid also recently sent me a link to a celebrity wedding video and said she thought Pauls work was even better and the best wedding videography she had ever seen.
So if you’re in two minds about getting a wedding videographer just think, in a year, or even a few months after your big day, are you and your family/friends likely going to be talking about those extra canapes or added decorations, probably not?
